I am 36 years old and in October 2009 within 6 days i lost both of my jobs due to the economy. I know now (it took me a bit )that this was a sign - a way for me to do something BETTER and something that i didnt realize i would love so much. I have always loved antiques and my friends would say i love anything that looks "antiquey" - the older the better. I have learned that alot of people don't see the potential in an old, worn, ugly piece of furniture and alot of the time they just want it out of there life even if they have to give it away. So i have started a small hobby/business. I refurbish the furniture you can't bare to throw out or cant wait to get out and document the experience I have when bringing them back to life. This is how "painted whyte" was born.
