Linda @ Painted Whyte August 24, 2010

I knew i was going to love this piece as soon as i saw it!  I had no problem at all envisioning this beauty with some nice white paint and a little bit of distressing.  I found this solid wood filing cabinet on kijiji last winter. I started working on it months and months ago but got busy so it was left unfinished awaited its finishing touches! I finally finished it. Yeahhh!!!

Originally i was going to change the hardware but once it was finished i decided that the original hardware looked pretty good with its original antique bronze finish.  It is now advertised on kijiji so that it can find its new forever home (even though i really really want to keep it & have never seen another one like it)

I love it! It looks so much better now that you have "renewed" it's life :) Great job, and wise choice keeping the hardware as is!

It looks amazing Linda. Are you sure you can't just tuck it in beside a desk somewhere in your home? Seems a shame to part with such a great piece.
